Position Summary
- Experience with Agile execution preferred.
- Experience with Jira preferred.
- Candidates with at the ability to execute within software development life cycle preferred.
- Responsible for driving the Opportunity Assessment & Discovery processes for the Enterprise Portfolio.
- Experience in change management preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master / Professional Scrum Certification preferred.
Plans and manages large or highly complex projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, monitors and manages large or highly complex projects from initiation through completion.
- Leads project team while ensuring right talent is assigned at the right time.
- Builds and manages key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment of critical objectives, gains key insights, and enable imperative buy-in. Keeps stakeholders up-to-date on deliverables, status and metrics.
- Monitors project health and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments and resource allocations to ensure optimal project performance.
- Monitors quality of project deliverables. Ensures completion of required quality reviews and obtains appropriate approvals for assigned projects.
- Prepares and analyzes reports, charts and graphs, and summarizes variances between the plan and actual progress.
- Prepares and maintains project logs to record risks and issues and monitor resolution of each issue.
- Directs the management of outside contracts and vendors required for assigned projects. Work with appropriate personnel to establish contractual terms and conditions.
- Delivers presentations to key stakeholders summarizing objectives, deliverables, status and metrics.
- Schedules meetings, prepares agendas and ensures meeting minutes are prepared.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, project management, or related field and seven years of project management experience; or
- Associate's degree in business, finance, information systems, project management, or related field and nine years related project management experience; or
- High school diploma or GED and eleven years related project management experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Additional Experience
- In-depth knowledge of project life cycles including project management processes and change management concepts required.
- In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools required.
- Insurance industry knowledge preferred.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, graphics and database software required.

- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

- CPCU or related insurance designation
