Job Description
- Lead recruitment efforts, including posting job openings on platforms like really, reaching out to candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Attend career fairs and represent the company, showcasing the brand to potential candidates.
- Assist in employer branding efforts, which may involve travel, to attract top talent.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to improve workforce stability and morale.
- Manage various HR functions such as FMLA, benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
- Monitor the evolving needs of the company, providing flexible HR support that may become more focused on specific areas as the organization grows.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure effective recruitment strategies and staffing solutions align with business goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with FMLA, employment & labor law, and OSHA regulations
- Experience in employee orientation, evaluation, and talent management
- Ability to use HR software such as Paychex
- Experience with data entry, data collection, and interviewing
- Understanding of contracts and HR processes
- Certification in HR management is a plus
