Job Summary :
Erie Plating Company, a leader in metal finishing solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality / Logistics Associate to join our team. This role ensures that all product is prepared for world-class metal finishing and finished parts meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. The Quality / Logistics Associate will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare unprocessed parts by verifying count, inspecting, and preparing for the metal finishing operation.
- Conduct detailed inspections of finished parts using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other equipment.
- Compare completed parts to customer specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify compliance.
- Record inspection results, document discrepancies, generate quality reports, and prepare parts for shipment to customers.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to resolve quality issues or non-conformance.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure consistent quality throughout the production process.
- Monitor and uphold adherence to Erie Plating Companys quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Identify defects such as scratches, dents, or plating inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes.
- Maintain organized records of inspection data and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications relevant to metal finishing.
