Human Resources: The Heartbeat of the Team

Your Mission: To ensure the HR engine runs smoothly, maintaining harmony between leadership and staff.

  • File Sleuthing: Channel your inner detective as you audit HR files, ensuring every document is in the right place and up to date. No file gets left behind!
  • Meeting Maestro: Whether it's preparing agendas, crafting documents, or following up after the fact, you'll be the behind-the-scenes wizard ensuring all meetings are organized and executed flawlessly.
  • Communication Commander: You’ll be the voice of ERLI – answering HR calls and emails, swiftly responding to inquiries and keeping the team in the loop.
  • Talent Scout Extraordinaire: From job boards to social media and career fairs, you'll tap into multiple channels to find the perfect candidates, creating a rich pool of potential future stars.
  • Interview Coordinator: Schedule interviews, administer pre-employment assessments, and keep everything organized. You'll be a rock in helping interview teams connect with the best talent.
  • Onboarding Enthusiast: Make new hires feel welcome! You'll help manage their paperwork, coordinate screenings, and keep communication flowing with hiring managers.
  • Record Keeper of the Ages: Maintain a careful eye on the accuracy of employee records, managing everything from Rapback to ARCS for staff.
  • Performance Review Guru: Help oversee the performance review process, keeping track of key milestones like 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day evaluations. You'll help employees reach their potential!

Payroll & Financial Management: The Backbone of ERLI

Your Mission: To ensure the payroll process is as smooth as a well-oiled machine.

  • Time Tracker: You’ll gather hours worked, overtime, vacation time, and other details to keep everything accurate, ensuring no hours are missed.
  • Payroll Processor Extraordinaire: Using all the data you've gathered, you'll calculate wages, accounting for various factors like hourly rates, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Payment Perfectionist: Ensure that every employee gets paid on time, with accuracy, and via the correct method – whether direct deposit or otherwise.
  • Deductions Detective: Dive into payroll transactions, ensuring taxes, benefits, and deductions are tracked and calculated perfectly.
  • Inquiry Answerer: Be the go-to person when employees have questions about their pay. You'll be ready to clarify any payroll-related confusion.
  • Tax Time Champion: Assist with making sure all federal, state, and local tax requirements are met. You'll be the safety net that ensures ERLI stays compliant.
  • Invoice Auditor: Review and audit incoming and outgoing invoices, keeping a watchful eye on accuracy and expense reporting.
  • Cash Flow Keeper: You’ll be responsible for managing petty cash, making bank deposits, and ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately.
  • Financial Fact Finder: Support monthly audits, ensuring financial transparency and accuracy across all ERLI programs.

General Operations: The Glue That Holds It All Together

Your Mission: To keep everything running seamlessly while maintaining a positive, productive environment.

  • Team Collaborator: Work hand in hand with other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow. You’re the key to great teamwork and communication.
  • Safety & Compliance Sentinel: Uphold safety policies and assist with compliance audits, ensuring that ERLI meets all necessary accreditations and regulations.
  • Positive Vibes: Maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere. Your attitude and communication will set the tone for a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Attendance Enforcer: Stay on top of ERLI’s attendance policy to ensure that every team member is present and accounted for.

Skills & Qualifications: The Tools of the Trade

To be the best HR and Payroll Assistant in town, you’ll need:

  • Organizational Wizardry: Your organizational skills will be your superpower as you juggle various responsibilities, from audits to payroll.
  • People Person: Communication is key, whether it’s with employees, management, or candidates.
  • Financial Savvy: Some background in accounting and familiarity with software will help you manage financials with ease.
  • Confidentiality Guru: You'll be handling sensitive data, so discretion is a must!

Physical & Work Environment

  • Physical Stamina: You’ll occasionally be required to lift light loads and engage in typical office tasks, with a noise level that stays moderate.
  • Office Hero: A typical day involves sitting, standing, and using various office tools – nothing too strenuous but always dynamic!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
