The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing the company's collections process and ensuring timely receipt of outstanding payments. This role will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve any billing issues and maintain accurate records.

About the Role:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing the company's collections process and ensuring timely receipt of outstanding payments. This role will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve any billing issues and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all billings and progress billings - domestic and international. Will include online data entry
- Receive and post customer payments - credit card, check and electronic
- Check and approve freight charges. Handle discrepancies as needed
- Maintain rental schedule
- Develop process to maintain customer information such as customer tax exemptions
- Prepare, verify and control the entering of journal entries to the general ledger
- Reconcile and maintain various accounts, both general ledger and bank accounts
- Assist with financial reporting and budgets analysis
- Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the Controller
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or related field preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of accounting experience, including payroll experience
- Computer literate; proficiency with current software applications including Excel and Word. Working knowledge of JD Edwards E1 system a plus
- Must be familiar with US GAAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
