About the Role:
We are seeking an Aftermarket Repair Technician to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing top-tier service by repairing and refurbishing a wide range of Eriez equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and the integrity of our products. The technician will be expected to deliver high-quality repairs in a timely manner, reflecting Eriez's commitment to excellence and customer service.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- All work completed should mirror the mission and core values of the company; ensure we are providing prompt, superb repair to new and existing customers
- Inspect, test, and recertify lift magnets as required. Write up repair work for lift magnets as needed
- Assist or lead in the assembly and disassembly of customers' equipment in the repair center
- Repair and refurbish Eriez industrial equipment such as SE magnets, all drums, ECS rotors, large feeders, etc
- Assist production in troubleshooting and assembling customer orders
- Work closely with sales, engineering, research, and manufacturing to improve products
- Minimum of two years of experience in assembly of or repairing industrial equipment
- Associate degree, trade skill degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred
- Mechanical, electrical, and technical ability to handle details of repairs
- Demonstrated leadership ability. Able to work with little supervision and make on the job decisions
- Knowledge of Eriez manufacturing processes and standards
- Knowledge of customer applications and use of Eriez products in these applications preferred
- Ability to read and understand equipment AutoCAD drawings, including mechanical and electrical details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with coworkers and customers
- Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations, mechanical standards, OSHA, industry and Eriez safety practices or ability and willingness to learn
