About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for for preparing outgoing shipments. Box the equipment up properly to where it is going and be able to ship the orders through the system.
Responsibilities:
- Package large and small shipments securely and accurately
- Load and unload trucks as required using forklifts or overhead cranes
- Track lost and delayed shipments effectively
- Maintain all shipping records as instructed
- Prepare all necessary shipping papers, tags, packing list and labels as required
- Able to use basic measuring tools
- Operate power equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and clamping devices
- Able to set up and operate all saws
- Receive items to dock and into Stores, check, document, and record
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks as directed by the supervisor
- Answer phones to assist Eriez personnel.
- Close out stock orders in the ERP system.
- Must work independently with minimal supervision
- Report any faulty equipment or defective materials to the supervisor
- Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools and manual machine tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Able to write legibly and read and understand written instructions.
- Able to use basic measuring tools.
- Able to use simple charts as required.
- Demonstrated related experience in carpentry to design and build shipping skids, boxes and crates that will result in delivery without damage.
- Able to use hand tools and power tools safely to package shipments. (Power stapler, nailer, table saw, radial saw, etc.).

Hourly Pay Range: $19.19/ hr. to $21.11/hr. (Hourly Pay commensurates with experience)
