OVERVIEW : Erin Patterson Law, PLLC is seeking a full-time Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join their boutique law firm located in the Dilworth neighborhood, just outside of Uptown Charlotte. The firm focuses solely on estate planning and estate administration, serving clients in both North and South Carolina.
Professional Qualifications :
Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
1-3 years experience
Excellent academic credentials with a demonstrated focus on trusts and estates
Other state licensures, LLM in Taxation or CPA a plus
Responsibilities :
Effectively manage a robust caseload by prioritizing tasks and calendared events
Consult directly with prospects and clients, including preparation and documentation
Drafting and reviewing wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
Eventually draft / review estate / trust administration documents
Achieve billable hour goal : 1,200 1,300 hours
