We are seeking a Part Time Optician to join our team at Erker's. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting the perfect eyewear while providing expert advice based on their prescriptions, additionally supporting Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer support and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that fits their needs and preferences.
- Interpret prescriptions and provide accurate recommendations for lenses and frames.
- Ensure proper fitting of eyewear, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized display of optical products.
- Educate customers about lens options, coatings, and care instructions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to orders or fittings.
- Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an optician or in a similar role within the optical industry.
- Strong retail sales skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology, anatomy, and physiology is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential for handling patient information.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
