Erketu has recently partnered with a Luxury Hotel Management company based in NYC to find a Vice President of Operations to oversee a portfolio of hotels.
The core focus of this role is to enhance performance through a comprehensive, balanced scorecard approach, encompassing colleague engagement, guest satisfaction, owner relations, brand integrity, and ESG/sustainability initiatives, all aimed at increasing market share and optimizing financial outcomes across the portfolio of hotels and residences.
Works closely with the regional COO, corporate leaders, and property teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance performance across key metrics. Actively engages with hotel operations, coaching leaders and ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic goals.
Collaborates with functional teams in F&B, Guest Experience, Finance, Talent & Culture, and other areas to optimize operations and implement best practices. Translates strategy into actionable plans, budgets, and performance goals while ensuring compliance with management agreements.
Continuously seeks opportunities to improve colleague engagement, maximize revenue, enhance efficiency, and elevate service standards to strengthen market positioning.
Qualifications:
Extensive luxury hotel leadership experience across diverse North American markets, including resorts, city-center hotels, and remote locations.
Deep understanding of luxury brand standards, LQA, and Forbes/AAA ratings, with a strong passion for service excellence and operational excellence.
Strategic thinker with strong executive presence, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and gain buy-in at all levels.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple projects independently while performing well under pressure.
Strong business acumen with excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
