Team members are trained to meet the highest level of function for their role as per the State of Tennessee / Georgia guidelines. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to coordinate care for patients and is trained and assigned to support patients / families / caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to manage the practices' patient population. Participates in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.Education : Required : ARDMS (compliant with all continuing education mandates) orGraduate of approved AMA school of radiological technology (RT) and an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program and considered registry eligible by the ARDMS orGraduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program and considered registry eligible by the ARDMS orRegistered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with on-the-job training in diagnostic ultrasound and considered registry eligible by the ARDMS.Preferred : N / AExperience : Required : Medical and / or hospital clinical experience requiredBasic computer experience required (1-2 years work experience or college level classes)Preferred : One-year prior hospital experience in ultrasound preferred.Position Requirement(s) : License / Certification / RegistrationRequired : One of the following : 1) ARRT and ARDMS registered2) ARDMS registered3) ARDMS registry eligible (certification within two years)CPR certified. This position requires independent judgment and initiative in utilization of ultrasound equipment to create high quality images. Excellent communication and rapport with physicians is required.The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
