Responsibilities:
- Determines assessment of patients' needs.
- Collects, verifies, and interprets data related to health.
- Formulates nursing diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops a plan of care based on prioritized nursing diagnosis and interventions.
- Implements the plan of care, procuring necessary resources and assigning tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjusts the plan of care as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Communicates and collaborates with healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
- Teaches and counsels clients, families, and groups about their health.
- Supervises, teaches, and evaluates nursing personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- One year of experience in the specified area is required.
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina RN licensure or Multi-State Nursing Compact Licensure is mandatory.
- BCLS certification is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Accredited four-year Nursing Program (BSN).
