Job Summary
Provide oversight of operations for each assigned centralized outpatient team. Develop staffing models and schedules to ensure centralized support to all EWCH outpatient clinics promoting efficient operations. Monitor productivity and performance measures for teams. Oversee recruitment and provide ongoing supervision and evaluation of the staff. Provide financial oversight including the development and management of operational and capital budgets.
Administrative responsibilities include tracking monthly clinical data. Providing transparency and support to physicians and practices to improve quality metrics. Assess and provide recommendations on an ongoing basis for practice improvements.
Responsible for overall outpatient quality, and compliance with the accountable care organization (ACO) for the EWCH campus. Provide leadership, direction and support for the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives to align with internal and ACO goals. Execute rules and requirements for multiple payer programs, CMS, and the NC Medicaid Advanced Medical Home status. Oversight of ACO support staff.
Health Resource and Service Administration (HRSA) Administrator- Oversight of federal award activities. Facilitates compliance with all applicable HRSA programs including loan repayments and scholarship programs. Submit initial and recertification applications and lead federal surveys.

These responsibilities include hiring, termination, training and annual competencies as well as disciplinary processes as needed. This position will promote teamwork and facilitate a smooth flow of daily operations and ensures superior customer service daily by interacting with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner. The Business Operations Manager will assist in the development of capital and operational budgets for assigned teams and will monitor monthly variances from the budget and implement corrective action. This position will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating QI initiatives to meet internal goals and standards set forth by NCDHHS, CMS, HRSA, and all other applicable accrediting agencies.

Education
Required:
- Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a combination of a healthcare related college degree and 3 years relevant healthcare experience may be considered.
- MBA preferred
Required:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in progressive healthcare or business management, with strong financial and systems background,
- Working knowledge of physician office practices.
- Experience with Clinically integrated networks
