Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist aids with and facilitates all incoming calls for human resources. This role acts as a liaison between Erlanger Health employees and HR staff. This position takes customer calls and provides accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns. The HR Generalist de-escalates situations involving dissatisfied customers by offering HR assistance. Guides callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site, or using the products or services. HR Generalist answer customers' questions and refers them to the necessary HR resources to solve their problems. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function. The HR Generalist has a broad scope of responsibilities including responding to calls related all HR competencies.
Education:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Preferred:
At least one year of human resource experience preferred.
SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
Experience:

Previous experience with multi-tasking environment with high call volume.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred:
Three years of office experience preferred, with at least one year in human resources highly preferred.
