What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian (12-hour rotating shift 6:00AM to 6:30PM) position at Erlen Group?
General Summary:
This position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. A systematic, detail oriented person with the ability to track, document, and maintain a comprehensive custodial program is required. This position also requires a person with mechanical aptitude along with the ability to assist in other functions of the warehouse as needed
Principle Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Keeps restrooms clean, stocked and in good working order
- Sweeps, mops, and polishes floor on regular and as needed basis
- Removes trash and other decries on a daily basis
- Dusts equipment furniture and fixtures as required
- Keeps windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces clean and clear of grit
- Assist with minor repairs, change light bulbs and assist with other maintenance related items
- Ability to operate industrial equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, mechanical sweeper and like equipment.
