Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Services Manager

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for supporting Cold Zone’s Shipping Clerks and Inventory Control team by facilitating clear and efficient communication between the warehouse and clients. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate scheduling, shipment updates, and inventory-related inquiries are handled professionally and promptly.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Shipping Clerks with truck scheduling coordination and updates.
- Communicate shipment details, delays, and scheduling changes to clients.
- Support Inventory Control with client requests related to product availability, discrepancies, and adjustments.
- Maintain documentation related to shipments, schedules, and inventory communications.
- Generate and distribute daily reports as needed.
- Support the Services Manager with additional administrative tasks.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must actively promote and uphold Cold Zone’s safety culture and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email communication, and scheduling software.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related
field.
- Required: High school diploma or GED
Physical and/or Travel Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
