Reports to: Cold Zone Services Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Inventory Control Job Summary:
The person occupying this position is responsible for ensuring systematic and physical inventory accuracy within the warehouse. This position will ensure accessorial charges are accurately billed and will be a primary contact for customer correspondence regarding inventory, receipt, and shipment issues. The role will provide inventory support across all Cold Zone businesses.
Inventory Control Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle all Food Recalls, mock recalls, and traceability exercises with oversight from the Food Safety Team
- Act as a point of contact for customer correspondence regarding inventory
- Monitor warehouse inventory through the Warehouse Management System
- Follow all food safety processes and procedures
- Maintain accuracy of inventory through cycle count schedule
- Ensure accessorial billing is fairly and appropriately added to client transactions
- Handle all stock transfers between accounts
- Monitor reconciliation of inventory discrepancies
- Assist with all administrative duties specific to the operation of the warehouse
- Organize and store warehouse records for appropriate time frames
Inventory Control Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and multi-task
- Basic computer and telephone skills
- Ability to enter data and operate point-of-sale software on a computer
- Attention to detail
Inventory Control Education/Experience:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Required: Three years’ experience in a related field
- Preferred: Forklift experience
Inventory Control Physical and/or Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Prolonged stationary periods in an office setting
