Reports to : General Manager or Production Manager

FLSA Status : Non-exempt

Miner Job Summary :

This position is responsible for the basic daily activities at the Mine site. The person occupying this position will work with other Team Members to excavate raw limestone and process the material into marketable sizes safely and efficiently. The specific duties will vary depending on where in the process the Team Member is assigned. All duties performed will have a high focus on the safety of the individual and their Team members.

Miner Duties / Responsibilities :

• Conduct daily equipment and environment inspections
• Operate mining equipment, i.e., front-end loaders, excavators, etc.
• Perform hand scaling and operate scaling and drilling equipment
• Operate and maintain rock crushing equipment and conveyors
• Operate and maintain water pumps for dewatering and dust suppression
• Perform all aspects of maintenance and repair of equipment utilized
