Shipping Clerk
Reports to : Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status : Non-exempt

Shipping Clerk Job Summary :
This position is responsible for accurately handling and overseeing inbound and outbound product and the scheduling of trucks for a range of clients. The person occupying this position is also responsible for accuracy of documentation to include bills of lading and shipping documents and acts as a backup for Inventory Control.
Shipping Clerk Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Operate a Warehouse Management System daily
- Organize and schedule appointments for both warehouse inventory and railcar operations with customers
- Assign dock doors for incoming loads
- Assign and enter lot numbers for incoming product
- Transfer documentation to customers verifying product was picked up
- Assist with all administrative duties specific to the operation of the warehouse and rail operations
- Coordinate with operations to have rail cars moved as needed
