JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Erling Construction Foreman you will be able to lead, coordinate and manage construction and installation of petroleum equipment in the field. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Underground Storage Tank (UST) Installer (TCEQ A/B) within the state of Texas or carry a similar license or experience in another state. Our core expertise is with fuel systems however we are expanding our offerings to provide a broad range of equipment, installation, repairs, and maintenance of the mechanical systems in these facilities. A PREVIEW OF YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Coordinate with Project Managers, your Construction Manager, and other trades to complete upcoming projects to plan.
- Leads construction workforce on excavations, installation of shoring protection systems, installation of USTs & ASTs, underground piping systems and setting dispensers.
- Ensures all field staff are adhering to safety policies and guidelines in compliance with OSHA practices.
- Work with site GC’s, supervisors, designers, and end customers to manage project timeline and resolve concerns.
- Communicate daily reports, photos, and documentation to Project Managers.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Ability to lead and motivate a crew on one or multiple concurrent installation projects
- Ability to read blueprints and identify and escalate any issues found in the designs prior to execution
- Ability to operate excavator and backhoe to complete excavations
- Ability to perform minor welding
- The ability to work on a professional level with customers and coworkers
- Excellent computer skills with skills in Microsoft Excel

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED, College Degree is a plus
- At least 5 years of field construction experience, ideally in a supervisory role
- Experience with fiberglass and flexible piping systems
- UST A/B License (Erling is willing to facilitate licensing for out of state candidates)
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment
- Authorized to work in the United States
