Ewing, New Jersey area project requires a skilled Right of Way (ROW) Project Manager to support pipeline, electric transmission, and other energy project efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits and other documents necessary for facility construction, operation, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of land acquisition efforts with regular reporting to internal project teams.
- Negotiation with landowners or their designees to settle complex damage claims.
- Research of courthouse and other records to determine property ownership and extent of interest.
- Advice on establishing fair market values for land and land rights acquisition.
- Drafting and preparation of necessary documents including rights of entry, damage claims, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase, and more.
- Compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of ROW experience; Project Management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS, and data management software.
- Familiarity with real estate values and accepted appraisal practices.
- Ability to work remotely for extended periods and in various locations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Effective communication through oral and written means.
