Job Summary
At Unifi, the Transportation Dispatcher supports the Delta employee shuttle bus system with scheduling, routing, and dispatching duties; operates a variety of communication equipment, including two-way radio, telephone, computer mobile dispatch terminal and scheduling systems; to verify and monitor staff locations; prepare, prioritize and relay transportation requests, including emergencies; to participate in a variety of administrative and clerical duties related to assigned area of work
Responsibilities for Dispatcher
- Utilize video monitoring to identify high rider volume and trigger adjustments to bus flow as needed to minimize wait times for all employees.
- Dynamically adjust and effectively communicate route times and locations to drivers.
- Generate reports to show the highs and lows of the rider movement throughout each day
- Document complaints and distribute them to Management for processing.
- Maintain records on safety, complaints, and recognition for all drivers.
- Performs other duties as assigned
