This co-op position offers a unique chance to dive into a large-scale manufacturing environment and put engineering theories into practice. You'll acquire in-depth insights into the transformer industry and play a supportive role in the execution of capital projects alongside the NPI Engineering team.

This co-op position offers a unique chance to dive into a large-scale manufacturing environment and put engineering theories into practice. You'll acquire in-depth insights into the transformer industry and play a supportive role in the execution of capital projects alongside the NPI Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with process development for new products
- Utilize Inventor and fusion to design and prototype parts.
- Create workable prototypes using 3d printing technology
- Deep dive into IEEE specs to understand product testing requirements
- Create documentation for testing requirements for type testing electrical components
- Electrical Engineering background and knowledge will be an added value
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance factory throughput.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in teams and to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive for results with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to begin a rotational schedule in Summer of 2025 - this co-op will require education & co-op rotations over the summer timeframe and could lead to a permanent long term role with the organization after graduation.
- Must be local to Greenville, TN for onsite engineering rotational program.
