What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adolescent Clinical Counselor (Bridge Program) position at Ernest E. Kennedy Center?
The position of Bridge Counselor shall provide a full spectrum of clinical and case management services, to include individual, family and group counseling, to high risk adolescents and their family members. This position will assist them in making positive lifestyle changes to enhance recovery through identifying, coordinating, and monitoring individual needs, resources, and various services in a variety of settings, to include home, school and vocational visits.
Masters Degree in human services or a related field and certified by the State of South Carolina Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors or ability to obtain certification within established time frame or its equivalent in education/experience and minimum of 1 year experience in the coordination of community services and resources and counseling experience. Must hold a valid SC driver’s license.
