At our 30-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Idaho and surrounding states. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- One (1) year experience in Business Office or Admissions Office in a medical setting preferred.
- Associate degree and/or clinical license preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities
Uses developed expertise and training in hospital admissions protocols and operations and independent discretion and judgment to manage the full scope of the hospital’s admission-related functions. Responsible for coordinating all intake requests with clinical liaisons and physicians, verifying insurances and obtaining authorizations as necessary, working with internal staff to determine preparedness for incoming patients, and communicating admission as necessary. Maintains and communicates census records including admissions, discharges, room changes, transfers, etc., to support administrative management and oversight. Works closely with Marketing Department to ensure proper flow of intakes, accuracy of data received and entered. Works closely with all payers and customers, ensuring accurate knowledge of facility, services provided and outcomes. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
