Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in HR Management role preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Strong project management, time management, and leadership skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.

- Ability to develop HR programs and policies based on business new requirements

Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the facility’s human resource’s function. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
- Makes recommendations to Senior Management for improvement of the facility’s plans, procedures and practices in relation to the Human Resources function.
- Contributes to the evaluation and revisions of hospital goals and strategic plans for human resources.
- Collaborates with Recruiting Team, Managers and Directors on recruitment efforts to ensure appropriate staffing in all areas of the facility including screening, interviewing, prompt offers and processing of new hires.
- Facilitates employee communications for monthly new hire orientation including coordinating and scheduling with employees and presenters. Conducts presentations on HR policies and procedures, wellness, and benefit plans.
- Manages all workers compensation claims. Works directly with Managers and Directors on all employee injuries including post-accident investigations and prevention. Conducts safety rounds and implements employee safety programs.
- Leads retention initiatives. Collaborates and strategizes with all Manager’s and Director’s on initiatives to reduce contract labor via net hire and turnover reduction. Develops and implements hospital quarterly recognition, wellness, and retention plan.
