At Laredo Rehabilitation Hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. At our 21-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, we provide specialized treatment throughout Laredo and the surrounding areas.
As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, we offer robust recognition, wellness, and retention programs. These programs focus to enhance the employees’ work experience, recognize, and celebrate achievements. We also encourage employees to share their work experience through “My Ernest Journey†and through our Engagement Survey, where our approach is “You Spoke, We Listenedâ€. Qualifications
Required Skills:
Dusts, mops, and cleans items such as medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and equipment. Vacuums blinds, screens, and vents. Performs miscellaneous duties such as replenishing supplies. Sterilizes rooms after isolation. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles†into daily practice.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Previous housekeeping/environmental services experience preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledgeable of appropriate healthcare environmental services procedures
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to learn and practice healthcare environmental services procedures
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
