General Responsibilities:
- Positions and clamps work piece against fixtures or to specified point on built in scale.
- Identify and verify appropriate material.
- Programs machine per written program.
- Starts machine and observes operation.
- Must verify first piece, using tape measure, calipers, and any other measuring device to verify part conforms to print.
- Must be able to do some minor maintenance.
- Must be aware of safety considerations while operating machine.
- Must be able to examine part for quality.
- Read blueprints, count parts, match prints to parts
- Report labor hours by entering all applicable information in MieTrak.
- Follow written and oral instructions
