We are seeking an experienced and data-driven eCommerce Product Manager to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our digital experience. In this highly collaborative role, you will help shape the roadmap for Ernesta’s website, focusing on conversion optimization, data and analytics, A/B testing, SEO growth, and site enhancements that elevate both consumer and trade experiences.
What You’ll Do:
The anticipated starting base pay for this role is between $130,000 and $165,000. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills. About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven eCommerce Product Manager to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our digital experience. In this highly collaborative role, you will help shape the roadmap for Ernesta’s website, focusing on conversion optimization, data and analytics, A/B testing, SEO growth, and site enhancements that elevate both consumer and trade experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor site performance KPIs, analyze ecommerce data, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance user engagement and conversion.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion across Ernesta’s consumer and trade experiences.
- Manage and execute an A/B testing roadmap, using data-driven insights to continuously improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Support the SEO workstream, partnering with external teams to drive increased traffic and organic search contribution over time.
- Own and execute site and page content updates, ensuring that copy, imagery, and product information are refreshed and aligned with brand and business goals.
- Support the launch of new SKUs and collections, ensuring a seamless and compelling presentation on the site.
- Work with design and engineering to bring initiatives to fruition, balancing quality and speed.
- Partner with a cross-functional team that includes Merch, Sales & Marketing.
- 5 years of experience in eCommerce Product Management at a consumer-focused company with a proven track record of driving conversion and business growth.
- Strong data analytics skills with the ability to generate custom reports and query data using tools like Sigma to drive insights and decision-making.
- Experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude to track user behavior, analyze funnels, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Experience working with Merchandising teams on product launches.
- Experience optimizing shopping experiences for conversion (e.g., checkout flows and landing pages).
- Proficiency with customer data platforms like Segment for managing data collection, integration, and activation across marketing and product tools.
- Robust experience with A/B testing strategies and familiar with the concept of MDE, Statistical power, Type I / Type II errors.
- Strong knowledge of A/B testing platforms and analytics tools (e.g., GA4 or Amplitude or Mixpanel, Tableau or Looker or Sigma, VWO or Optimizely)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive organic growth.
- Experience working in Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Experience working with engineers in an agile scrum environment.
- Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
