Duties
- Chairside assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Taking dental radiographs to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain patient records accurately using dental software systems such as Dentrix and Sidexis.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care to promote overall health.
- Sterilization and instrument processing.
- Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies.
- Support patients with a gentle approach to ensure comfort during visits.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in general dentistry practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental imaging techniques is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Dentrix and Sidexis, is beneficial.
