As a Tax Manager, you'll be providing strategic tax planning recommendations to clients, working with global clients to address their most complex people challenges, and ultimately improve and drive sustainable business results.Your key responsibilitiesSuccessful delivery of Mobility (Expatriate) Tax projects : technical excellence and practical / business-driven approach to solving complex client challengesProvide quality US tax returns and overseas tax filings; preparing / reviewing calculations (international tax cost projections, equalization, and hypothetical tax)Generate revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clientsLead workstreams from planning to implementation, managing resources and budgets effectivelyDevelop understanding of expatriate tax issues, trends, and toolsManaging, coaching, and developing junior resources and peersTo qualify for the role you must haveA bachelor's degree in a related field; MST, MAcc, or JD / LLM preferred5 years relevant experience in expatriate tax : Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy, or in-house roleUS Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membershipAn understanding of automated tax-processing systems, as well as tax lawsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAnalytical approach to tax; ability to convert complex data into meaningful strategic insightsWillingness to travel as neededIdeally, you'll also haveExposure to US and international clientsWhat we look forWe're interested in professionals with the drive to take on new responsibilities and projects.
