Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients while adhering to medical protocols and standards. Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities - Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans - Provide wound care, including dressing changes and infection control measures - Administer basic life support in emergency situations - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation - Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care measures Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Cerner and eClinicalWorks - Experience working in an intensive care unit (ICU) or hospital setting - Knowledge of aseptic technique for infection prevention - Familiarity with medical office procedures and protocols - Basic life support (BLS) certification - Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs Requirements: - Valid LPN license in the state of [State] - Minimum [X] years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting - Completion of an accredited practical nursing program We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
