Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the production aspect of construction projects runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing resources, and facilitating communication among various teams to meet project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. The Production Coordinator will collaborate closely with the production manager, subcontractors, homeowners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within the scope of the project.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and homeowners. Ensure that all parties are well-informed of project progress and changes.
• Procurement & Material Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the timely procurement of materials and equipment. Track materials and ensure that all necessary supplies are on-site when needed.
• Labor Coordination: Ensure that the appropriate labor is available and properly allocated to meet production needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records including ordering permits, managing supplier invoices, documenting change orders, and safety reports. Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Production Manager and Project Consultant.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets quality standards set by eRoof and adheres to project specifications. Address any issues related to construction quality.
• Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project costs and help ensure that the production stays within budget. Report on any discrepancies or potential cost overruns.
• Payroll Management: Accurate and timely reporting of subcontractor’s payroll upon completion of the project. This includes verifying subcontractor invoices, ensuring they align with contract terms and the work performed, and calculating payments based on agreed rates or contract milestones.
• Problem Solving: Address issues and resolve any conflicts that arise within the project, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols on-site and assist in ensuring all workers are following OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Schedule Coordination: Coordinate subcontractors and project managers schedules, ensuring that the construction timeline is followed, and potential delays are minimized.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a production coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software (Acculynx)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures on construction sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Construction Safety (e.g., OSHA 30) is a plus.
