Responsibilities
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9 hours between 7:30am and 5:30pm
No Holidays, No Weekends, No Call!
Core Position Duties: The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Capable of performing the full range of general medical services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat urgent/acute diseases and injuries including:o Skino Pulmonary Systemo Heado Gastrointestinal Systemo Eyeso Musculoskeletal Systemo Earso Genitourinary Systemo Noseo Reproductive Systemo Throato Lymphopoietic Systemo Necko Central Nervous Systemo Cardiovascular Systemo Endocrine System
- Become familiar with the hospital formulary.
- Prepare and maintain proper medical records on beneficiaries to whom treatment is provided in accordance with MTF procedures.
- Follow the established operating procedures for the pediatric clinic. He/she shall participate in the quality control activities of the department of pediatrics.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Education: Must have a qualifying degree MD/DO complete in the 50 states, US Territories or Qualifying degree, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate or Fifth Pathway certificate for individuals who obtained premedical education in the US and received undergraduate medical education abroad. Successfully completed an internship and residency in an accredited U.S. Pediatric Training Program.* Experience: 1) Must have sufficient experience in the last two years to demonstrate clinical privileges.
* Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine from any state. Must be Board-Certified.
* Life Support Certification: Possess and maintain a current BLS and PALS.* Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
