The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in configuring payroll schemas and rules, with a key skill in evaluating existing systems and defining rules for new payroll vendors. This onsite role requires strong functional consulting support for SAP HCM Payroll/Time modules and excellent communication skills in a customer/stakeholder/vendor-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional consulting support for SAP HCM Payroll/Time modules with hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with the project team and vendor to support payroll project implementation.
- Evaluate and clarify existing Payroll/Time configurations in collaboration with the vendor to facilitate the implementation of a new design.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills in customer/stakeholder/vendor-facing environments.
- Work with business and technical teams to investigate current configurations (rules, schemas, SAP functions, ABAP programs) in SAP HCM for U.S. and Canada payroll countries and explain to the vendor for new system implementation.
- Investigate issues and provide technical explanations if testing results differ between the new system and the existing system during the testing phase.
- Provide technical and functional consultation and configuration for SAP in a global organization as required, including:
- Configuration of payroll rules and schemas
- New wage type configuration and calculation
- Legal report configuration
- Tax/SI configuration based on country-specific requirements
- Standard payroll report configuration
- Account posting configuration
- Validate changes and maintain the change management process with business approval.
- Provide resolution of incidents/problems for the client.
- Monitor and fix defects to support business operations.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll with hands-on configuration experience, including payroll schemas.
- Experience in U.S., Canada, Brazil, and Argentina payroll implementations is highly beneficial.
- SAP Time Management skills, including time schemas.
