What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP FICO Lead Consultant position at ERP SAVVY LLC?
ERP SAVVY is seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Lead Consultant with extensive Retail/AFS industry background, to join our team for a 12-month contract positionwith a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of SAP Finance, including at least 1-2 completed S/4HANA upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SAP FICO implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Provide deep expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, including New GL, Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
- Utilize hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Finance Apps and S/4HANA UX enhancements to optimize user experience and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP FICO modules.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage extensive experience in the Retail/Fashion industry to provide tailored solutions and insights.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Perform system configuration, testing, and validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members to foster professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.
- Support post-implementation activities, including user support and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of SAP Finance experience.
- Proven track record of completing at least 1-2 S/4HANA upgrade projects.
- Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO, New GL, Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Finance Apps and S/4HANA UX enhancements.
- Extensive experience working in the Retail/Fashion industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (TX/NC).
Preferred Skills:
- SAP certification in Finance or Controlling.
- Experience with other SAP modules and integration points.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions.
