What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP SD OTC Techno-Functional Lead position at ERP SAVVY LLC?
ERP SAVVY is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP S/4 SD OTC Techno-Functional Consultant to work on one of our projects. This role will require expertise in SAP S/4 HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) module, with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, specifically Sales Orders and Quotations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SD configuration and possess the technical skills to develop and implement solutions to meet business requirements.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP S/4 HANA SD modules, specifically related to Sales Orders, Quotations, Pricing, Delivery Processing, Billing, and related master data.
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design technical solutions within the SAP S/4 SD environment.
- Solution Design: Develop and document detailed functional and technical specifications, including process flows, data mappings, and integration points.
- Development & Testing: Collaborate with ABAP developers to develop custom solutions, including user exits, enhancements, and reports. Perform thorough testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure solution quality.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Analyze and resolve production incidents related to SD processes.
- Integration: Work closely with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO) to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP SD configuration and customization.
- Deep understanding of OTC processes, with a strong focus on Sales Orders and Quotations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA is essential.
- Strong configuration skills in SD modules, including Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Delivery Processing, Billing, and related Master Data (e.g., Customer Master, Material Master).
- Experience with ABAP development and debugging is preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with ABAP developers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with High-Tech Industry is a plus.
