JD Edwards Application Managed Services and Consulting Manager

ERP Suites is looking for a seasoned JD Edwards Application Consulting Manager who excels in driving operational excellence within our Application Managed Services and Projects teams.

This leadership role demands a candidate with a strong command of JD Edwards applications, a profound understanding of process-driven execution, and an unwavering commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and effectiveness.

Location:

• Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location.
• Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Championing Operational Excellence:

• Instill a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the JD Edwards consulting team.
• Develop and implement process-driven methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service delivery and project outcomes.
• Leverage metrics to measure team attainment of key operational objectives.

2. Managed Services Quality:

• Oversee the provision of JD Edwards Application Managed Services, ensuring optimal service levels, client satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.

• Implement rigorous service management frameworks, aligning with industry best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Seamlessly navigates project complexities, ensuring open communication lines among stakeholders and guaranteeing project success.

3. Superior Project Delivery:

• Lead JD Edwards application projects with a focus on process efficiency, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and exceeding quality expectations.
• Apply robust project management methodologies, emphasizing process optimization and resource efficiency.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration between Advisory, Technical, Sales, and Support teams.

4. Strategic Planning and Innovation:

• Drive the strategic planning process for JD Edwards consulting resources, integrating a process-driven approach for sustainable growth.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions and enhancements to JD Edwards service offerings, based on industry trends and client feedback.
• Stay current with JD Edwards updates/releases and industry trends to enhance service offerings and provide strategic advice to clients.

5. Client Relationship and Consultation:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, grounded in trust and operational excellence.
• Provide high-level, process-oriented consultancy, aiding clients in optimizing their JD Edwards application usage to drive customer business optimization.
• Regularly review service performance metrics with clients, identifying areas for enhancement and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 10-12 years of experience in JD Edwards applications, with a significant focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
3. Certifications: JD Edwards certification is preferred; additional certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are highly advantageous.
