ERS is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to assist the President in all aspects of the business including but not limited to the following: Financial, All aspects of the Database, software and hardware, and Marketing and Sales and the people management that goes along with this. ERS (www.reccheck.com) is a highly established supplier of environmental data, historical information and online reports for environmental and financial company's throughout the USA. ERS has the most complete and largest environmental database in the Nation! We offer the most complete and thorough environmental database reports in the Nation! We are a team of 15 people and growing who share the desire and will to excel in all areas of The Company. This has led to many years of proven success and consistent growth.

We are looking for a highly organized, resourceful, driven to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced environment person (Female/Male). You must possess people and process skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop others. You must have the drive not to be afraid of trying new things or rolling up your sleeves and being hands on even if you have to learn how to do the task. You will need to embrace technology, keep an open mind, and understand how to lead change. You want to be an integral part of a team who makes an impact and drives your company forward.

The starting pay may not be what your looking for but, you are currently in a dead end position (lost interest or no upward mobility) or are ready to move up from an starting or assistant position (just out of college) and/or just need a change. You have a business degree and feel you are not being utilized. The starting pay of $50,000 will be driven up by your performance in your new job. You thrive and take this as a challenge. Once with the Company for 120 days, you will be put on a bonus program based on the Company's growth.

This position has never existed in ERS prior to your hire! You will help to create and define the position and its responsibilities. This position will become key to ERS's future growth and success.

The anticipated roll of an Assistant Operations Manager (F/M) in ERS is to assist in the overseeing of the day-to-day operations as well as plan and coordinate special projects, directly manage the researchers in the regulatory and historical research department, contribute to supply chain management, budget and forecast, and provide overall direction to all operations staff. You will also effectively work with other management levels and their staff in a concerted effort to continue to grow and advance The Company in all aspects keeping in mind YOUR actions will create and define the position and its responsibilities!!!

Some of the anticipated Duties and Responsibilities are:

  • Planning and coordination of special projects
  • Hire, train, and evaluate all operations staff
  • Work closely with all departments to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth or improvement
  • Provide basic IT and office security
  • Supply chain management for office supplies (minimal)
  • Vendor and subcontractor relations and contract negotiations
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to maximize quality control, accuracy and efficiency
  • Contribute innovative ideas and valuable updates in weekly meetings
  • Establishing budgets and performing within them.
  • Setting up a Sales and Marketing Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of operations management, assistant operations management and/or business management experience required.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher preferred (MBA).
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word (any IT skills a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strongly skilled in leadership, mentoring, and developing staff.
  • Structured and organized with ability to hold colleagues and departments accountable.
  • Very rare night and weekend availability if necessary.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms is a plus.
  • Passionate about data and analysis and the CHALLENGE!
