Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Project Manager to join our team in Bergen County, New Jersey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the construction of offshore wind projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage assigned projects and ensure timely delivery within agreed specifications and HSE standards.
Provide input to allocated tenders or contribute to other defined management tasks requiring a project approach.
Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
Regularly report the project's progress, performance, any problems, and potential risks to senior management.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in project management principles, methodologies, relevant technologies, and leadership in best practices.
Experience in offshore wind construction, maritime construction, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
Exceptional leadership, motivation, problem-solving, and empowerment skills, with a track record of delivering high-performance and quality outcomes.
Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in working with cross-functional and multidisciplinary project teams and internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
Proficient in managing changes, risks, and uncertainties, and communicating effectively and persuasively with diverse audiences.
A good working knowledge of marine, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Able to travel (domestic and internationally) as required.
