We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Facility Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with solar facility maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and an awareness of safety protocols. This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve faults related to mechanical and electrical issues on solar equipment.
- Perform pad-mounted transformer switching, following Lockout / Tagout procedures.
- Carry out corrective tasks on solar equipment and ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in an outdoor environment for extended periods.
- Maintain accurate EH&S documentation.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, timesheets, PPE checks, inventory logs, etc.
- Use Maximo to manage work orders and perform administrative tasks.
- Complete Pre-Job-Briefs and ensure all paperwork is up to date.
