Aerial Laborer Job Description
Job Summary
This position involves assisting a crew with tools, materials, and supplies. The successful candidate will be able to work safely, lift and manipulate equipment, and follow instructions.
Responsibilities
- Assist crew members with tools, materials, and supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and tools
- Perform traffic control duties as directed by the crew leader
- Use hand tools, ladders, and equipment to complete assigned tasks
Requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools, ladders, and vehicles
- Ability to work safely, with or without supervision
- Ability to work standing, at shoulder height, and overhead for extended periods
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, crouch, sit, bend, and reach while on shift
- Ability to wear safety boots, safety glasses, and hardhat
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
