Responsibilities
- Focus on Solar cell sales, pipeline development and fostering relationships among Utility scale clients or C&I key accounts.
- Build and implement sales strategies appropriate for the assigned business segments.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales pipeline.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Manage existing accounts and acquiring new ones, from pre-sales to after sales support. Proactively find new accounts to develop additional business.
- Lead contract negotiations with target accounts.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams including marketing, technical service center, legal, finance and operation management, etc. to ensure smooth fulfillment of sales orders.
- May occasionally be involved in strategic growth opportunities that the company is pursuing.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Depending on the evolving needs of the business, this person may also be tasked managing other sales personnel.
- Attend industry trade events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related profession/field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Solar Sales, prefer to have Utility & C&I key account management experience
- Solid understanding of solar industry, previous sales experience on solar module or tracker or inverter) and its adjacent markets (e.g. storage & semiconductors) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to travel and represent the company in various commercial engagements.
- Organized and able to manage sales orders end-to-end (from booking until fulfillment).
- Proven track record in closing transactions.
- Competency in office software tools.
