Summary:
The Process Technicians are responsible for gathering data from various manufacturing and inspection equipment throughout the manufacturing plant to assist Process Engineers in analyzing possible causes of production defects and continuous process improvements. Doing process parameter checking, inline data and preventive maintenance monitoring. Training on data collection and work procedures will be provided upon hire.
Responsibilities:
- Supports production in the resolution of process issues.
- Supports Process Engineering with process and equipment qualifications, process evaluation, and process improvements.
- Compiles and analyzes statistical data for critical processes.
- Performs periodic audits of machine settings, process controls settings, work instructions, and manuals throughout the manufacturing line.
- Has the authority to make decisions and take proper action in support of production processes quality and yield.
- Provide technical solutions either by improving the process, machine modifications, or incoming material evaluation.
- Execute all required duties while practicing safe work methods and adhering to all plant safety rules.
- Monitor PM quality and feedback to superior if any abnormality found.
- Assist engineer for the implementation of relevant standard established by process department and provide training to the production operator in the production.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent in Engineering / Sciences or any related field
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PPT)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing position in a continuous operation.
- Basic data entry experience
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work long shifts, including availability to work at nights
- Able to stand and walk the production area throughout each shift
- Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled.
