Staff / Cost Accountant
Job Overview :
We are searching for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team at ES Foundry. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in an accounting position with experience working in NetSuite ERP.
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of internal and external financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP)
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accounts reconciliation and financial analysis
- Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data in NetSuite ERP.
- Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and cost structures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis for various departments.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to monitor inventory costs and oversee the valuation of inventory.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights into cost trends and support decision-making.
- Recommend corrective actions and improvements based on data analysis.
- Support financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end reporting. Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize resource allocation and cost management strategies.
