Summary

We are seeking a Controller to join our dynamic team at ES Solar. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting while contributing to our mission of delivering 100% customer satisfaction. This position is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization as we continue to grow.

A/R and A/P

Controller is responsible for overseeing all activities pertaining to the accounting department

• Create invoices and track inventory when creating invoice
• Answer any customer queries about Accounts Receivable
• Monitor processing of invoices and ensure timely collections of payments
• Supervise all accounts payable transactions
• Process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing
• Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
• Initiate collections on past-due accounts
• Maintain all Financial Reporting
• Adhere to all financial reporting deadlines

Payroll Processor

Manage all Payroll functions including:

• Finalize and enter Sales, Setters, and Install reports into the payroll system
• Ensure all necessary adjustments are made prior to payroll approval
• Get all employees paid in a timely, accurate and efficient manner

Controller/Management Responsibilities

• Protect the company and its employees from fraud through a set of controls that ensure the company complies with US G.A.A.P
• Assist management with important financial decisions
• Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of business
• Monitor a company's financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs
• Understand the financials of the company in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing
• Manage, train, and assist all persons directly under the Controller and assist them in all accounting/finance processes, training, and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience using Netsuite strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or currently in school for accounting (graduate degree)
• 3-5 year experience in the accounting field
• Experience in ADP preferred
• Customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Compensation

$80,000-$110,000 per year
