*Position Description: At ES Solar, our #1 goal is 100% customer satisfaction. As a Commissioning Technician you will be responsible for the initial operation of the solar system and building relationships with our customers. Having a mind for diagnosing problems is a must. Sometimes we must track down an issue between the solar panels and the solar inverter and so we require someone who is willing, if needed, to get into an attic to find the problem. You must also be able to lift a 50lb inverter and set it on a wall and be comfortable handling some minor electrical equipment and wiring.
This meeting with the customer comes at the end of the solar process. You will have the unique opportunity to build good rapport with the customer. How you communicate with the customer will either build confidence or decrease it. Like building a home, a customer has to go through several steps until their solar can be fully installed and operational. You must be skilled in working with people and de-escalating customers who may be frustrated with a step in the process.
You must also have a sales mindset. Customers will be happy to give you referrals if they feel like they are being taken care of. As you receive and contact those referrals you will have opportunities to set up solar appointments for possible sales. Any appointment you set that sells, you will get a commission from it.

Must have Solar Experience or similar diagnosing experience (1 years is ideal)
Customer service skills are a must!

Must be able to keep on schedule. Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license.
