Job Description:
The Facilities Manager at Es Vedra Cinemas oversees the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of our venues. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from repairing games and equipment to landscaping and janitorial work. This role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of our venues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the venue to identify maintenance and repair needs, prioritizing tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on games, equipment, and facility infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance as needed, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage the facility's janitorial team members, overseeing cleaning schedules and ensuring cleanliness standards are met throughout the venue.
- Maintain the facility's landscaping, including lawn care, gardening, and snow removal, to create a welcoming and visually appealing environment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replenishments as needed to ensure availability for ongoing operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate facility-related activities and support overall operational goals.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or vocational training in facilities management or related field preferred.
- Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification required.
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Comfortable with flashing lights & loud noises.
