Position Overview
As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.Job Description
- Earn $18 per hour
- 1st Shift - Fulltime - Monday to Friday
- Start at 5am until work is complete (Approx. 2pm)
- Location - 4875 N Susquehanna Trail
You will contribute by:
- Operate an electric riding pallet jack.
- Assist in unloading cross dock trailers.
- Ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished.
- Load, unload, and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility.
- Monitor pallet construction and ensure load quality.
- Prioritize work within your assigned zone.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What’s a great way to stay in shape?
- Continually standing, walking, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
- Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
- Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
- Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
- Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
- Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
