About the Role:

We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel rooms and public areas. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail and ability to manage a team will be crucial to the success of our hotel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fluency in the local language
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Certification in housekeeping or a related field
• Experience with front desk operations

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Inspect hotel rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with front desk and room service staff to ensure guest needs are met
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and personal hygiene standards

Skills:

As the Head Housekeeper, you will use your expertise in safety procedures, personal hygiene, cleaning chemicals, and hotel housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel rooms and public areas. You will also use your leadership and communication skills to supervise and train housekeeping staff, collaborate with front desk and room service staff, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
